Shoot Your Face Off - tomorrow at Space →
I’ll have a photo booth up at Space during the First Friday Art Walk as part of Shoot Your Face Off.
I’m working with Kimberly Convery. We’re creating a bunch of scenes that we will be projecting on top of you, and then taking a picture. Kind of like being at Coney Island and sticking your head through a hole in a wooden standup to be in a scene. (Just with a lot more options.)

New Blog - Portland Music Photos →
I’ve set up a new blog called “Portland Music Photos” - The theme is local music photos by local photographers.
Portland is putting out a lot of great music. But I think we need to add some visuals to that, to see as well as hear what’s going on.
So if you’ve got a cool photo photo at a show, submit it and I’ll post it to the blog, twitter and onto Facebook....

Space Gallery's Free for All exhibit - in 3D!
Space’s Free for All exhibit is an unjuried group show featuring works by a wide variety of artists in a democratic curatorial experiment.
I took a slew of photos and put them together in a 3D environment, so you can see the exhibit as if you were there. Suggestions for browsing the images - open the view to full screen and make sure to use the navigation arrows to move around to get...

This is pretty impressive. A huge number of tracks, thousands of hours of material in various formats, is becoming available.

If you’re not familiar with Stumbleupon, here’s how it works.
Choose topics you like. Hit the Stumble button and get a random page based on your topics. Like it? Thumb it up. Don’t? Thumb it down.
And the system will try to give you more pages that the algorithm thinks you’ll like.
And, of course, it’s better when you’ve got friends to share things with.

Shit Photojournalists Like: The 'Death' of... →
shitphotojournalistslike:
This will prove to be a slight departure from our usual programming, because WE’RE MAD AS HELL AND WE’RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE To be completely blunt, photographers have a tendency to freak out over the slightest developments in the industry, whether it be for better or for worse….
